Hand-painted Vintage Century Furniture Console Cabinet

A wonderfully stylish—and useful—vintage console cabinet from North Carolina-based furniture maker Century Furniture (Furniture of Distinction, as it says inside the cabinet’s drawer!) that packs a real punch thanks to its custom hand-painted, dappled, almost marbleized swirl finish in deep teal, celadon and a tan hue that Jason Oliver calls “latte.” The interior of the long drawer and cabinet is finished in a rich teal paint color and, on the exterior, the cabinet is outfitted with stunning, beautifully detailed brass Asian hardware. There’s some wear and tear to the cabinet but that adds to the lived-in luster. Perfect for next to a bed or in a foyer or beside a sofa.
