Description & Specification

Indoor rug hand-tufted from wool. The Madcap Cottage Old Peking wool pink and green rug brings a punch of timeless Chinoiserie style to any decor. Inspired by antique Art Deco Chinese rugs, this colorful pink and green rug depicts a fantastical Asian landscape with rushing waterfall, towering ginkgo trees, and distant mountains. Also, a boat navigates through the rushing waters past a playful foo dog and pagoda-like temple. A work of art for your floor that is soft, sturdy and inviting thanks to a hand-tufted wool construction that makes each rug unique.

This rug is handcrafted by skilled artisans, making every piece one of a kind. While we strive to accurately represent colors and patterns in our images, slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the product and differences in screen display settings.

Care Guide

Made from 100% wool fiber. Professional cleaning is recommended; however, the rug can also be spot cleaned by applying a damp cloth and mild detergent to soiled areas using a blotting method. Do not rub as this will damage fibers. Vacuum regularly. Product of India.

  • Please note that all sample orders (unless upgraded shipping is selected) will ship through the US Postal Service.
  • All other products except furniture and rugs larger than 8’ x 10’ will ship via UPS Ground.

International Shipping

  • Shipping charges for orders posting to destinations outside the continental United States will be added at checkout.
