Friends:
John and I are, obviously, mad for color, and we love the glorious chromatic display that unfolds every spring at the House of Bedlam, our 1930s-era brick home. Such inspiration!
Think snowdrops then daffodils.
Blazing red and pink amelias.
Shocking orange azaleas before pinks and whites spread their petals.
A visual symphony of flowers that marches across the yard and delivers some much-needed WOW after the winter doldrums.
John breaks out his sketchpad and his watercolors and starts painting... These lovely sketches quickly transform into patterns that will eventually become Madcap Cottage fabrics, wallpapers, and more...
And the magic continues to march as we move forward into summer...
What inspires you as we move into the season ahead?
