John found this pair of vintage low-slung armchairs at an estate sale in Florida, but, while he was enamored with the striking architecture of the duo, the fabric wrapping the seats lacked vim and vigor. And Madcap Cottage is all about verve, n’est-ce pas? Hence, the gents reupholstered the chairs in the wonderful Madcap Cottage Rock House performance-driven, linen-like polyester fabric with its stunning lavender and teal-green lattice pattern. Yes, a performance fabric that is made in America and that is crafted without the use of heavy-duty chemicals (no fluorochemcials!)—and yet a fabric that can be bleached when you spill! So bring on the dogs and kids and drink that large glass of red wine in style. Scrolled arms and a beautifully tailored skirt. Self-welted. A beautifully tufted back pillow and soft down-wrapped foam seat. Comfortable. Easy. Timeless. And fresh. Just like you!
