True Blue!

Gang:

As you move into the weekend, skip over to One Kings Lane and take a look at the Madcap Cottage sale going on right now. We have hundreds of vintage and antique furnishings and accessories that we have collected upon our travels over the years… These pieces offer the perfect splash of history and luxe to give a room a truly “layered” look.

Here are just a few of the blue-hued furnishings in the sale to tempt you.

Happy Friday!

John and I found this pair of nightstands on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach years ago. Rescued from the legendary Eden Roc hotel that was designed by architect Morris Lapidus, the nightstands boast the hotel’s iconic “ER” on the drawer pulls. We love the aqua-colored tops to these stunners and the three drawers atop cabriolet legs. As Lapidus once said, “Too much is never enough.”

Honestly, you can never have enough lattice in your home, and this vintage lattice chair custom upholstered in the Madcap Cottage Mill Reef fabric is absolute perfection. We are mad for the custom gray paint finish that would work in any room.

Unearthed at a fabled estate in Palm Springs, California, this vintage blue-green-and-white fabric-wrapped console table boasts a glass top and heaps of personality. Perfect for a hallway that lacks “Hello, Gorgeous!”

Custom painted a pale gray and upholstered in the Madcap Cottage Windsor Park fabric, this pair of chairs nods to history while decidedly facing forward. Add these to a hallway for instant elan.
